Finally! Incredible workmanship, expertise, dedication and professionalism from these amazing door fitters – Wayne and Mariusz… and to top it off, two of the nicest tradesmen you’ll ever use!
Having originally chosen less expensive fitters for our door replacement project, 2 days into the work and after yet another sleepless night, I was compelled to cancel this first company, having experienced bad, illogical practice, considerable damage to several half-fitted doors and a lot of stress and upset – not to mention mess! Sadly, a very negative experience and a total false economy!!
Cue The Doorfitters… Without hesitation, Wayne thankfully and reliably (out-of-normal working hours) came along, agreed to help and take on the installation – ie. to not only install the remaining brand new doors, but to also correct the mistakes and repair the damage to the doors attempted by the first fitters. He even kindly offered to negotiate some essential fitting costs in light of our negative, upsetting experience and the extra costs already incurred – which we’re really grateful for and is testimony to his kind, reasonable nature. He’s also extremely approachable and his extensive knowledge of doors, fitting, hinges, locks, latches and everything in between (!) was crystal clear from the outset, so we instantly felt totally confident and reassured from that first meeting.
From Day 1 of the fitting, the contrast between the two companies was HUGE(!) in both working practice and also quality of work – to say the least!!
Wayne and Mariusz are totally mission-led; focused, diligent machines, working incredibly hard, methodically and efficiently together, in total professional, organised harmony! Very impressive.
The result: 2 Days, 14 Doors – DONE!!
Absolutely outstanding! All to their exceptionally high and detailed standard of finish and fitting, complete with new perfectly-aligned door stops. They even went the extra mile, kindly and voluntarily helping with some extra bits ‘n’ pieces for us – just amazing!
The modern horizontal straight lines on the doors and handles called for precision alignment – something as a perfectionist, I was very keen to be right, but I really needn’t have worried. These guys are total pro’s and new exactly what was needed! Perfect!
They organised their main workstation outside, out of the way for the messy stuff and worked cleanly throughout the house, protecting surfaces and neatly clearing away at the end of each. Again…perfect!
Our new, modern doors and handles have been so precisely and expertly fitted, we’re absolutely thrilled with the end result! They look amazing and have already made a massive difference to the interior look and feel of the house.
Thank you for everything Wayne and Mariusz! An absolute pleasure to work with you both! If only all tradesmen were as friendly, fair, honest and reliable… and worked like you! 🙂
If you’re thinking of having doors replaced/fitted, don’t make the same mistake we made!! These really are your door-fitting experts with the right tools, specialist knowledge and experience for the job and we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them! 100%!
